The Chancellor of Germany seeks light for the dark shadows following his nation from the last century. Our country, he announces, will repatriate artistic works seized during the march across Europe by the Nazi war engine. The government and populace do not universally applaud this decision. One such detractor is Alfred Stumpel, a disenfranchised citizen and aristocratic German, whose family considers the world wars as minor hiccups intruding on their dynasty. His estate includes a bunker housing art treasures his father confiscated for the Third Reich. Stumpel, determined not to hand these over, inveigles the minister of art with promises of riches. Unknowingly, the minister becomes part of a violent plan. Finding a professional assassin is next. The search leads to the Ocelot, an extremely talented murderer with vitae to match. He is employed to remove some problematic obstacles. The FBI attempts to unravel pieces of this killer, his operation, and string of ruses are to no avail. Sometimes the dragon wins!
